The AI is instructed to write original jokes, but a joke is not a fact and this format skips fact-checking. Make sure yourself that none is somebody else's or offends anyone.
Do I need to keep the tab open while the AI writes?+
No. Writing runs on the server: you ask for it, close the tab, and an email tells you when it is done.
